With the goal of updating its database, the Gracie Barra Association is requesting all its schools and instructors to provide their complete information through a form to be completed online. The information will be used to integrate even more the Gracie Barra global community allowing GB Schools and Instructors to operate with more uniformity and Integration.
GB is present in all continents and has more then 250 schools worldwide. The global operation is exciting and motivating to all GB members. However, it presents huge challenges to GB Association like channeling every-one’s efforts and energies towards the direction set by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. The GB Association is facing these challenges systematically and as such taking several actions to virtually integrate the entire Gracie Barra World.
GB Instructors and School owners must complete the form online until February 20th. Only registered schools will be included on the new list of Gracie Barra schools to be released on April 2nd.

 Known on the Mat as codename RGA2, the latest Roger Gracie Academy opens its doors to the public on Monday 12th January 2009.

 Almost 4 years to the day the mat space at the academy once again has grown making it the biggest BJJ academy in Europe. With the addition of the second mat area, the academy timetable has also changed to include an intermediate (purple belt program) class which allows 3 stripe white and blue belts to go into greater detail the techniques to make them grow in to the practitioners they desire to be.
The first night on the new program schedule saw a full mats in all classes and with 4 black belts supervising everyones training. In room 1 we had Nicolas Gregoriades and Sixth-Degree Black Belt Mauricio Gomes and in room 2 we had Jude Samuel and Multiple-Time World Champion Roger Gracie. We thank all students for their support and help in making this happen and in return we promise to continue to deliver the best instruction to you all.
